Pray for the Christians of Iraq

image3553119g.jpgChristians have been in what is now called Iraq for 2000 years. But, according to a pastor there, the persecution of the church has never been more severe.

CBS's Scott Pelley visited Baghdad for "60 Minutes" and interviewed the Reverend Canon Andrew White. I encourage you to read the transcript (click here).

I also encourage you to join me in praying for Christians in Iraq. While we're at it, let's pray for Muslims as well. And while we're asking for God's intervention, let's pray for peace.
