Tortured Logic

Less than two weeks after my post "Tortured Morals" (see below) I received my April 8 issue of The Christian Century with an editorial called, "Tortured Logic."

It says that "anything less than a complete repudiation of torture is a blot on the United States." I couldn't agree more.

You need to check it out. To read the editorial, click here.

This issue also contains a news item entitled, "Despite church pleas, Bush vetoes bill to ban harsh interrogation." While it is discouraging that the president vetoed the legislation, I was encouraged that several Christians have spoken out on the issue. To read that article, click here.
